Christina McBride

Her work concerns itself with issues relating to the physical environment-the complex individual and collective reality, which is to be read in the places and spaces we interact with and inhabit. Her practice integrates a variety of media which includes photography, film and installation - light is the crucial element in all of her work. She graduated from the Glasgow School of Art and received her MA from the Slade School of Art, London. She has exhibited widely in Britain and currently has a solo show in New York. She is a part-time lecturer at the Glasgow School of Art and was a Visiting Artist at the California Institute of Arts in Los Angeles and Tyler School of Art, Philadelphia.
