Born in 1946, Aberdeen and studied at Ealing School of Art, 1967-68, Winchester School of Art, 1968-71. Hampshire Scholarship for Fine Art; Turkey & Greece, 1971; Royal College of Art, Foundry Course, 1980. He became a senior lecturer in Sculpture at the University of Gloucestershire in 1995, and in 2005 he was elected an Associate Member of the Royal British Society of Sculptors.
